Hello again
So
I have sort of abandoned my Tumblr for awhile. Used it less in London, when you would think I would have used it more…
Now, I made it home to Cleveland, did not get trapped by any volcanoes, and have started my design internship here.
In other news my phone died. And yeah, it wasn’t really fancy, didn’t have QWERTY Keyboard, whatever, but I really liked it. And all of a sudden it just stopped working. Now I have to get a new one, and there are lots of options, but I kind of just want my old one back. I’m afraid to go for something like the iPhone, because I know once I do, I’ll never go back. Oh yeah, and there’s the whole part about how I can’t afford an extra 60 a month just so I can check Facebook whenever I want, because I feel like that is what it might turn into.
To put the icing on the cake, I brought my bike to a bike store, and I was told it’s not worth putting any money into. The guy said, “It looks like it’s just been sitting around in a garage for 20 years.” Which is is exactly what happened to it; it used to be my Moms. But it was kind of a sad moment, sort of like being told you need to put your dog to sleep, only maybe a little less extreme. But, you know, he just said it right in front of the bike…
Either way, I don’t mind that my bike is like 120 years old in bike years. I’m riding it until it gives out, or gets stolen. Which, the latter seems more likely as I still have one more year of school left…
